12/16/2005: "Is the cozy dead?"
I love Agatha Christie. I will read Minette Walters with her detailed descriptions of decomposing bodies, gang rapes and urine stenches, but what appeals to me in a mystery novel is the plot. It could be a whodunnit or a whydunnit or a howdunit, what I like is the puzzle made believable by strong characters.
What we need, IMHO, is for Harlan Coben to diversify into cozies. :-)
