06/01/2006: "What Daggers?"
mood: smiling, despite the apparent tone of the entry
I'm afraid I have to confess utter indifference to the whole Daggers saga. Granted, it was interesting to read the heated debate about the recent changes... more so even because I'm unlikely to be affected by it all, ever.
No, no, no, I'm not being modest. I do think I'm good and have the potential to be brilliant. However, my books are published in the USA, which means they don't qualify for the Daggers.
So, at the risk of starting another argument, I'd like to ask how the geographical restriction originated and whether it still makes sense in today's global world.
Oh, and congratulations to all the shortlisted authors, of course.
