Jody Sabral is a journalist who lived in Turkey for ten years until 2012, working for various international broadcasters. Jody self-published her first book Changing Borders in 2012 but has transported Kate Roberts, her main character, back to a time when she first arrives in Turkey for The Movement. Jody writes for the Huffington Post, Al-Monitor and Brics Post on Turkey and has guest lectured at universities including SOAS on Turkish democracy. These days Jody is based in London, where she works as an editor on the foreign desk and video producer at the BBC. She is also studying the MA in crime fiction at City University, London.
